“Green Mountain Fall Colors” by Pono Images

Last week, I did a bit of hiking around Green Mountain - along the west edge of the Denver Metro area. Like my post from the other day, I've hiked this area for over 20 years. I've experienced mule deer and coyotes, as well as the occasional rattlesnake, on my hikes along the west side trails.

New Image Available – “Denver Skyline Sunrise”

This view of the Denver Skyline at sunrise was shot last week from the slopes of Green Mountain, a small mesa that sits against the foothills along the west edge of the Denver Metro Area. This spot is on Alameda Parkway, about 1/2 mile south of Green Mountain High School. There's a parking lot with access to the Green Mountain Open Space at William Fredrick Hayden Park.
