I love the ocean. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the mountains. But, ever since I was a kid, trips to the ocean were special. Over the years, I’ve taken up scuba diving, surfing, stand up paddleboarding, and snorkeling. All to get closer to the water. It’s when I took a step back, though, and saw things through a camera viewfinder, that I gained an additional appreciation for the water. Whether it’s watching a sunset over the surf, walking through a harbor, or watching the surf crashing on the rocks, there is something in the ocean that makes whatever stress one might be experiencing to just disappear.
