We’ve got a new image for sale from the batch of images I shot this past August on Maui – it’s a panoramic sunset image called Napili Bay Sunset Panorama”. I took this the evening of August 17th at the Seahouse Restaurant at the Napili Kai Resort, which surrounds Napili Bay on Maui.
I’d spend the day in Kihei, and by afternoon, Maui was actually experiencing thunderstorms. Heavy rain from Ma’alaea, to Ukumehame and Puamana, but by the time I got past Lahaina, it had dried out. But, these storms left some wonderful clouds for sunset. It was clear over Moloka’i, which allowed the sun to come through, but the clouds stretched from West Maui to Lana’i, darkening the skies and giving a nice mood to the shot.
