This shot was taken at sunset from Aloha Mixed Plate – a great place for local “plate lunch” style Hawai’ian food. The Kailua Pork is quite good!
The poat in the distance is the “ShangriLa” – available for private charters at sailingmaui.com. I’ve not used them for any charters, but their boat is always a pleasure to look at while enjoying sunsets from Aloha Mixed Plate.
We’d had a bit of rainy weather earlier in the day, but that provided some incredible clouds for sunset. Wonderful yellow / orange glow, seems to give the clouds an incredible range of colors from a light maroon to deep purples.
